Speaker/Chair Bio:

Kally Cheung is a Public Health Nutrition Provincial Lead for Alberta Health Services, focusing on enhancing food and nutrition equity. Her team is working to enhance understanding of household food insecurity in the Canadian context. She partners with health teams, care providers, community groups and researchers to inform community driven, asset-based actions. As a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator, Kally brings a wealth of practical knowledge and expertise to her work. Kally has practiced in various clinical and community settings across rural and urban Alberta, which gives her valuable insights into the unique challenges and opportunities in health and community settings. Kally holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Alberta.
